Man arrested for firearms offence at hotel

A man has been arrested for an alleged firearms offence at the Wemyss Bay Hotel, and will appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today, the Largs and Millport has reported.

Police received reports that a man was in possession of a firearm on Monday afternoon at 1.15pm. A 47 year old man was then arrested later that afternoon at the hotel at 3.30pm.
